História de um amor

Pianola Editores, 2013

levantar-me, arrasto-te comigo, mas
nem me importo que me leves atrás
se o laço for contigo, e apertado.

"We've often said to ourselves that if, by some miracle, we were to have a second life, we'd like to spend it together."

We will be what we do together

Dorine e André Gorz
[1923-2007]

"Your replay was unanswerable: 'If you join with someone for life in marriage, you share your lives together and you refrain from doing what might divide or damage your marriage. Building your life together as a couple is your common project and you never finish reinforcing it, adapting it, reshaping it to fit changing situations. We will be what we do together.' "

André Gorz in, Letter to D - A love story, 2006

and I love you more than ever

© Daniel Mordzinski | André Gorz e Dorine

"You're 82 years old. You've shrunk six centrimetres, you only weigh 45 kilos yet you're still beautiful, graceful and desirable. We've lived together now for 58 years and I love you more than ever. I once more feel a gnawing emptiness in the hollow of my chest that is only filled when your body is pressed nest to mine.
(...)

I need to piece together the story of our love to appreciate its full meaning. It's what has allowed us to become who we are, living through each other and for each other. I'm writing to you now to understand what my life has been, what our life together has meant."

André Gorz in, Letter to D - A love story, 2006
